This guide will work for the following Okta systems:
- HHUNY Okta (screenshots are from this instance)
- Netsmart

If you would like to configure SMS Authentication initially for either system, you many follow this guide directly.
Setting Up SMS Authentication
- When prompted to set up MFA, select "SMS Authentication":
- Enter your text/SMS-enabled phone number in the "Phone number" field, including Area Code:
- Click "Send code". If the number was entered correctly, you should receive a text/SMS message to your phone that will provide a 6-digit code twice. Enter the code in and click "Verify":
Once you have successfully verified the code, you will now have the option to receive your MFA codes via SMS Authentication.
