This guide will work for the following Okta systems:

  • HHUNY Okta (screenshots are from this instance)
  • Netsmart

If you would like to configure Voice Call Authentication initially for either system, you many follow this guide directly.

Setting Up Voice Call Authentication

  1. When prompted to set up MFA, select "Voice Call Authentication":

  1. Enter your phone number in the "Phone number" field, including Area Code, and (if needed) your extension in the Extension field:

  1. Click "Call". If the number was entered correctly, you should receive a call that will provide a 5-digit code twice. Enter the code in and click "Verify":

Once you have successfully verified the code, you will now have the option to receive your MFA codes via Voice Call Authentication.
