The List
Here is a list of information to include in your request for Netsmart to attempt to restore the lost data:
- The general date and time frame that the data was entered into the chart
- This will allow Netsmart to more easily determine what incremental backup the missing data may be present on.
- The user who entered this data into the chart
- This allows Netsmart to filter their results by user and further narrow down the results of their search.
- The status of the data: Finalized, or left in Draft
- This also allows Netsmart to further drill down, as it is more likely for information in a Draft status to disappear than information in a Finalized status.
- Whether you were able to you see the data in the chart after you saved it before it disappeared, or if you never saw it after it was saved
- This allows Netsmart to determine if the information was properly saved/finalized after it was input.
- Whether you had multiple CareManager windows open at the same time when you entered the data
- This has been known to cause data input failures in the past, and knowing this can help Netsmart determine if the data is able to be restored.
- The node you were in at the time you entered the data
- Node = lower left hand side of your page, following the copyright, you should see a P followed by a number
- Knowing this allows Netsmart to more precisely identify where the information would be stored on their system and to determine if issues affecting one or multiple nodes may have caused the information to disappear
