User Guide
If you forget or answer your security questions incorrectly for your Netsmart login, you will be required to reach out to HHUNY so that we can request a temporary password be sent to us from Netsmart. Once we receive the temporary password, you will be required to reset your security questions in case you forget your password. We will be walking you through the steps to do so below.
- Please navigate to the Okta website (https://auth.netsmartcloud.com/). You should be presented with the below screen once you navigate to the website:
- Input your username and password and you will be taken to the Netsmart Okta homepage - see screenshot below:
- You will need to navigate to the top right corner and click on your name and you will be presented with three options: "Settings", "Preferences" and "Sign out". You will need to click on "Settings":
- After you have clicked settings you will be presented with a new Account page. On the account page in the upper right corner you will see “Edit Profile”. You will need to click on that button in order to change the security question:
- After you have clicked on the Edit Profile button the system will then need to verify it is you that is trying to change your profile settings so you will be presented with a password and an SMS code screen, as seen in the screenshots below:
- After you have gone through the verification steps you will be brought back to the Account screen. You will need to navigate to the “Forgotten Password Question” section and click Edit. Once you have clicked Edit the window will expand and you will be able to choose a new security question and input an answer, see screenshots below. Once you have chose your new security question and input your answer, click "Save".
- Congratulations you have successfully completed a security question reset in the Okta platform!! You can close the window or sign off.
